Salam! My name is Tegist！
My Name is Chiara Tegist Effing.
I was born in Ethiopia in 1995. I grow up in a Childen’s home in Addis Abeba.
With the age of five a German family adopted me and since than I’m German.
My home city is Aachen, it is a small city near Frankfurt.
This year I finished the High School and now I am trying to joy the life until the University starts.
This year I went to Ethiopia and I will stay in Addis Abeba for almost six month.
In Addis Abeba I work at the same children’s Home where grow up. Nevertheless I went to Ethiopia to find some family members and to learn the language amahric, because when I went to Germany I lost my mother tongue.
During the time in Addis I found some family members, which makes me very glad. This experience means a lot to me.
Now I want to know them better and learn their culture as good as possible. I will keep going to learn my mother tongue and absorb more about the Ethiopian culture.
My Hobby
In my leisure time I play tennis. Tennis belongs to my favorite’s sports.
Furthermore I like it to meet friends and to hang out them.
Moreover I spend a lot of time in a cinema, because I love it to go to the cinema.
